School breakfast clubs?
As part of a government plan, all three schools in Bohemia, St Paul’s, Christchurch, and St Mary Star of the Sea will be offering new services, “to enhance the well-being, enjoyment and educational standards of their pupils.” Core services available include breakfast clubs, study support and increased use of school buildings for the local community. Other services will be provided as a result of discussion with local people. A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday May 7th at 7.30 pm at St Paul’s School to find out what range of services families would like the school and other support services to offer. Dave Sugg, manager of Extended Schools Services will be giving a short presentation, as will local youth services, the YMCA, and the local street bobby.
